Mashobra is a small town located in Shimla District of Himanchal Pradesh. Located at an altitude of 2146 meters, Mashobra is known for its unique beauty. Mashobra hosts Presidential retreat which was established in 1850 by the Britishers for Viceroy of India. Mashobra is a very popular tourist destination due to its well connectivity and close vicinity to Shimla. Mashobra is officially part of Shimla Water Catchmentanct Wildlife Sanctuary hence the region is covered with thick forest of pine, oak, cedar, maple and chestnut. Best time to visit Mashobra are during March to June, while people who love snow can visit during the winters. Wild Flower Hall is one of the most popular attraction of Mashobra. It is located at the distance of about 3kms from the town at an elevation of 2,498 m above the sea level.
Reserve Forest Sanctuary
Surrounded by the thick forest of oak, pine and cedar and Indus River, which is the home of various species of flora and fauna. It is situated at 4 Kms from Mashobra and is an important part of the Shimla Reserve Forest Sanctuary. It offers the splendid view of Pir Panjal Mountains.
Mahasu Peak

Green Valley
Green Valley is situated at 7 km away from Mashobra on the way to Kufri Hill station. This spectacular place offers the amazing nature in the form of lush green landscapes, surrounded by small mountains with pine forests.
Jakhu Temple
