Nahan is a town located in Sirmaur district of Himanchal Pradesh. Nahan was once capital of Sirmur princely state. Nahan is situated at an elevation of 932 meters and is located on top of Shiwalik hills. Temperature is pleasant throughout the year. Nahan is well connected via road to all major town nearby. Nahar is known for its natural beauty and lush green outlook of the Shivaliks. Nahar is known for places around it such as Renuka Lake, Paonta Sahib, Trilokpur etc. Some places of interest in around Nahar are Suketi Fossil Park, which hosts prehistoric fossils which were uncovered in the region, Trilokpuri Temple, an old temple built in 1500s dedicated to Mahamaya Bala Sundri which attracts thousands of visitors every month, Dhaula Kuan, which is located on route to Paonta Sahib is known for its sprawling orchids of various fruits.

Renuka Lake
It is the largest natural lake of Himachal Pradesh, which id spread over 3214 m. The name of the lake is derived from goddess Renuka. There is another lake is also located near the Renuka Lake, dedicated to Lord Parashurama. Boating is available on the lake. A temple is also located near the lake, known as The Renuka Temple.
Jagannath Temple
Jagannath Temple is one of the most popular religious tourist attraction of Nahan. It was built by Raja Budh Prakash in 1681. The temple is dedicated to Lord Neel Mahadev.
Renuka Temple
Located on the banks of Renuka Lake, Renuka Temple is one of the holiest temple of this region. The temple is dedicated to goddess Renuka. It is said to be the temple was constructed overnight during the early 19th century by the Gurkhas. An annual Fair held in November is the major attraction of the temple.
Jamu Peak
Jamu Peak is extremely beautiful and quiet tourist attraction located near Nahan. The main attraction of this mountain peak, from the top, one can see breath-taking views of the lake and its surrounding valley. It is said to be that saint Jamadagni meditated here, a small temple is located here at the spot where the sage meditated.
Renuka Wildlife Park
Located in the Sirmaur District, Renuka Wildlife Park is one of the major attraction of this region. It is spread over 402.80 hectares including the Renuka Reserve Forest and the Renuka Lake. It is home to Asiatic lions, Indian antelope, red-jungle fowl, lion tailed macaques, chital, sambar and Himalayan black-bears etc.

Nahan is a small hill station, hence there is no Malls and multiplex are available here. Entertainments in this town is mainly depends local cinema halls which is located around the town.
